Waste bin material
The Fancycan table waste bin is manufactured out of strong ABS plastic. This plastic is also used with the production of LEGO, car bumpers, motorcycle helmets and vacuum cleaners.
Manufacturing Technology
For the production of waste bins, we use the injection technique. Hereby, the plastic melted is into a viscous mass and injected under high pressure into a mold, which forms the cavity of the desired product. By cooling down the plastic solidifies to the desired product.
Injection molding is one of the most common design techniques for plastic components and is among others used in the manufactury of toys, computer equipment and utensils.
